The decision of which Ankara designs to use for our cloth is problematic. We recognize that wearing appropriately for one's circumstances helps to prevent harassment and disrespect and that this situation is mostly a product of the society we have built for ourselves. Dress how you want to be addressed, as the adage goes.
This stalemate is in large part due to the fact that we would want to wear the apparel designed for weddings to church, social gatherings, funerals, and other events. One might just need to sew something once, wear it once, and then never wear it again if this isn't taken into account.
